The government has reported progress on National High-Speed Corridors and Greenfield Expressways, with 10,389 km awarded nationwide. Of this, 4,809 km have been finished, while 5,580 km are in progress. Minister Nitin Gadkari highlighted a structured review system involving all stakeholders for ongoing projects.

Rajasthan leads in awarded length with 1,340 km, of which 1,192 km are complete and 148 km are under construction. Punjab follows with 923 km, including 774 km under construction. Andhra Pradesh, Uttar Pradesh, and Haryana also have significant projects underway.

Gujarat stands out for completing 605 km out of its 764 km corridor network. The government’s efforts to expedite projects include initiatives like the ‘Bhoomi Rashi’ portal for land acquisition and online approval systems for clearances. Regular reviews and coordination mechanisms are aiding in resolving project bottlenecks.

Continuous monitoring and inter-agency coordination are crucial in fast-tracking National Highway, High-Speed Corridor, and Greenfield Expressway projects nationwide.
