A Guinness World Records certificate was awarded to Mahant Swami Maharaj in Vadodara for overseeing the largest simultaneous Hindu text recital. The event marked the 92nd birth anniversary celebrations of the spiritual head of BAPS in Gujarat. Nearly two lakh devotees from across the country gathered for this significant occasion.

The record-breaking effort involved 15,666 children aged between three and 13 years reciting the full Sanskrit text of the Satsang Diksha, a scripture composed by Mahant Swami Maharaj. This scripture consists of 315 shlokas offering guidance for spiritual, moral, social, and practical living. Guinness World Records officials confirmed the physical presence of 12,723 children at the venue.

The five-month-long 92nd Janma Jayanti Mahotsav of Mahant Swami Maharaj concluded with a grand event featuring cultural presentations, videos highlighting his life and values, and discourses by senior BAPS swamis. Gujarat Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel and Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Mohan Yadav graced the celebrations as special guests, acknowledging the spiritual leader’s contributions.

Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Mohan Yadav expressed pride in Mahant Swami Maharaj hailing from Jabalpur, his birthplace. Various initiatives were announced during the event, including the inauguration of a mobile school project for tribal regions and the launch of a YouTube channel for children by BAPS. The programme ended with devotees offering mantra-pushpanjali and a collective aarti under the open sky, creating a deeply moving atmosphere.
