Gujarat Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) President Jagdish Vishwakarma criticized the Congress for disturbing democracy and inciting chaos. He led a BJP protest outside the Congress headquarters in Ahmedabad, emphasizing the importance of respecting constitutional norms and the security of the Prime Minister’s residence. The demonstration was a response to the Congress’ protest at Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s residence in New Delhi regarding the alleged NEET paper leak and the demand for the resignation of Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan.

Vishwakarma highlighted that while political parties have the right to protest in a democracy, the Congress was crossing boundaries by misusing the platform for political gains. He mentioned that the Congress, having been out of power for a long time, was now resorting to misleading tactics to influence the youth. The BJP leader defended the government’s actions in addressing the NEET examination issue, stating that transparent investigations had been conducted, and strict measures were implemented to prevent future incidents.

Accusing the Congress of violating democratic norms and the dignity of the Prime Minister’s office, Vishwakarma stressed the need to uphold respect for the country’s leadership. The protest in Ahmedabad aimed to oppose the Congress’ alleged attempt to besiege the Prime Minister’s residence. Vishwakarma also praised Prime Minister Modi’s international recognition and highlighted the development initiatives that had bolstered public trust in the BJP.
