Gujarat BJP President Jagdish Vishwakarma emphasized the BJP’s distinctive ethos as a party where ordinary workers can ascend to top positions through dedication and service. The party kickstarted its campaign for the Manjalpur Assembly bye-election with the opening of the BJP’s election central office in Manjalpur. The event included a public meeting, a ‘Vijay Vishwas Bike Rally’, and the submission of Satish Patel’s nomination papers at the Vadodara Collector’s Office.
Before the public meeting, Vishwakarma and other BJP leaders paid respects to late MLA Yogesh Patel, whose demise led to the bye-election. Vishwakarma, addressing party members and supporters, highlighted Satish Patel’s nomination as a testament to the BJP’s culture of nurturing committed grassroots workers. He underscored the party’s reputation as a platform where hard work, dedication, and service pave the way for individuals to reach top echelons.
Vishwakarma recalled how Yogesh Patel, a former MLA, began his political journey as an ordinary party worker, eventually earning the trust of the people for eight consecutive terms. He viewed the upcoming bye-election as an opportunity to honor Patel’s legacy and stressed that a victory for BJP candidate Satish Patel would be a fitting tribute to the late legislator. Vishwakarma expressed confidence that a strong BJP win would bolster the development initiatives led by Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel in Gujarat.
