Gujarat BJP Co-Spokesperson and Valsad MP Dhaval Patel criticized Congress leader Kanhaiya Kumar for his remarks linking infiltration issues to Gujaratis. Patel highlighted previous derogatory statements by Opposition leaders towards Gujaratis, emphasizing a broader ideological disagreement.
Kanhaiya Kumar’s comments at a rally in Assam, indirectly mentioning Union Home Minister Amit Shah, sparked controversy. Referring to Shah as an infiltrator, Kumar’s speech drew strong reactions, with Patel accusing the Opposition of supporting infiltrators based on their statements.
Patel pointed out that Kanhaiya Kumar’s association with the ‘tukde-tukde gang’ at JNU reflects an ideology of dividing India. He cited instances where Opposition leaders made disparaging remarks about Gujaratis, attributing it to the rejection of Congress and other parties in Gujarat.
