The Gujarat unit of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) is set to conduct ‘Maha Aarti’ ceremonies at temples throughout the state on June 10. This initiative is part of a campaign celebrating the 12-year tenure of the Central Government led by Prime Minister Narendra Modi. The events, organized under the theme “12 Years of Uninterrupted Trust, Development and Public Welfare,” are a nationwide effort by the party to commemorate this milestone.
Party leaders, elected representatives, and workers will join in the ceremonies at various temples across Gujarat. These gatherings will involve prayers for the well-being and longevity of Prime Minister Modi. Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel is slated to attend the Maha Aarti at Trimandir in Adalaj, Gandhinagar, at 7 a.m. State BJP president Jagdish Vishwakarma will be part of the ceremony at the Hatkeshwar Mahadev Temple in Vadnagar, Mehsana district, at 7 p.m.
Additionally, senior party officials like state BJP General Secretary Prashant Korat and General Secretary Aniruddh Dave will participate in events at Devmogra and Mata-no-Madh, respectively. General Secretary Ajay Brahmbhatt will join the ceremony in Vadnagar, while General Secretary Hitendrasinh Chauhan will take part in the Maha Aarti at Pavagadh. All these leaders are expected to attend events starting at 7 p.m.
The party has announced that state government ministers, BJP state office-bearers, Members of Parliament, Members of the Legislative Assembly, local elected representatives, party leaders, and workers will also engage in Maha Aarti ceremonies at designated temples across Gujarat. Alongside the religious observances, a cleanliness campaign will be carried out, including the cleaning of statues of eminent personalities.
