The Gujarat unit of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) is set to hold a crucial strategy meeting on March 18 at its state office in Gandhinagar in preparation for the upcoming local self-government elections. Chaired by state president Jagdish Vishwakarma, the meeting will see the participation of senior party leaders, including various key officials from different party fronts.
State president Jagdish Vishwakarma will lead the meeting, with attendees such as state organisation general secretary Ratnakarji, state general secretaries, presidents, and in-charges of different party wings, along with members of the state election management committee, and district and city election in-charges. The primary focus of the meeting, as stated by the party’s chief spokesperson Anil Patel, will be on organizational readiness and coordination for the forthcoming elections.
Anil Patel emphasized that the party’s strategies for the local self-government elections involve comprehensive planning and coordination, with the formation of election management committees following the BJP’s established approach. These committees consist of eight members at the state level and four members at district and metropolitan levels. Patel also highlighted the party’s extensive outreach plans, including tours, group meetings, public gatherings, and conferences targeting various segments of society.
