Gujarat Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel participated in a large toy collection event in Ahmedabad as part of the “Children Will Play, Children Will Blossom” campaign. The initiative, inspired by Union Home and Cooperation Minister Amit Shah, aims to foster empathy, sensitivity, and sharing among children by encouraging toy donations. Patel emphasized the significance of sports and toys in children’s overall development, highlighting the values instilled by the act of donating toys to underprivileged children.
The event, held at Arohi Twins Bungalow in the Bopal-Ghuma area, brought together various sections of society to support this humanitarian cause. Patel urged families with surplus toys to contribute to the campaign, emphasizing the importance of inculcating values like empathy and sharing in the younger generation. He stressed that sharing toys not only benefits the recipients but also strengthens social responsibility and humanitarian values in society.
Acknowledging the broader impact of the campaign, Patel underscored how encouraging children to share their toys promotes social consciousness, humanity, and a sense of community. He called upon the public to actively participate in the initiative by donating toys to bring joy to underprivileged children. The Chief Minister also took the opportunity to plant a tree and advocate for environmental conservation during the event.
Local leaders Vinod Patel and Darshan Patel, along with numerous citizens and party members, were present at the toy collection drive, showing their support for this noble cause.
