Gujarat Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel recently engaged with a group of newly elected Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) members from Kerala. The delegation, visiting Gujarat after the BJP’s success in the Thiruvananthapuram Municipal Corporation polls, is part of the ‘BJP for Developed Kerala’ initiative. CM Patel highlighted Gujarat’s urban development progress under Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s guidance, aiming to inspire Kerala’s public representatives in their developmental endeavors.
The interaction focused on sharing Gujarat’s governance model to energize Kerala’s leaders for effective development initiatives in their regions. The visit aims to contribute significantly to the vision of a “Developed Kerala.” Later, the 11-member delegation visited the Gujarat BJP state office, ‘Shri Kamalam,’ led by Kerala BJP State Vice President K. Soman and other recently elected leaders from Kerala’s local self-government elections.
The delegation was warmly received by Gujarat BJP State President Jagdish Vishwakarma, State Organisation General Secretary Ratnakarji, and other party officials. They toured various departments at the state office, learning about its operations, digital systems, coordination methods, and organizational processes. Discussions with Vishwakarma and Ratnakarji provided insights into administrative and organizational best practices.
This initiative aims to foster the exchange of governance and organizational experiences among BJP units across different states. The delegation, including prominent leaders like K. Soman, Vinayachandra N. R., Vishnu Mohan, and others, seeks to enhance cooperation and learning between the party units.
