Gujarat Deputy Chief Minister Harsh Sanghavi accused external sources of bringing funds to mislead farmers during the local self-government elections. He made these remarks at a ‘Vijay Utsav’ event organized by the BJP to celebrate its success in various municipal bodies across the state. The BJP emerged victorious in multiple municipal corporations, municipalities, and local bodies after the election results were announced.

Party leaders and workers came together for the celebration, highlighting the widespread support for the BJP in Gujarat. Sanghavi praised the party workers for their crucial role in securing victories across different regions and wards. He emphasized the party’s growing influence in all parts of the state, including North Gujarat, South Gujarat, Central Gujarat, and Saurashtra.

Describing the BJP’s bond with the public as a broad social connection, Sanghavi emphasized that the victory was a collective achievement involving all citizens of Gujarat. He noted the diverse candidate selection process, which included professionals, community representatives, doctors, engineers, and individuals from various backgrounds. Sanghavi also lauded the party workers for their dedicated efforts during the campaign, regardless of challenges faced.

The Deputy Chief Minister reiterated his concerns about external interference during the elections, alleging attempts to disrupt rural sentiments by misleading farmers. He underscored the public’s continuous support for the party’s organizational structure and grassroots governance approach through the election results. Sanghavi encouraged party workers to stay connected with citizens and address local issues effectively.

The ‘Vijay Utsav’ event marked the BJP’s strong performance in Gujarat’s local self-government elections, reaffirming its presence across multiple regions in the state.
