Gujarat Titans (GT) have kicked off their preparations for IPL 2026 with a training camp at the Madan Paliwal Miraj Sports Centre in Nathdwara, Rajasthan. Led by head coach Ashish Nehra and assistant coach Parthiv Patel, the camp aims to provide a cricketing boost to coaches and players who are currently free from their Vijay Hazare Trophy commitments. Players like R Sai Kishore and Ashok Sharma have been actively participating in the camp.
Colonel Arvinder Singh, the Chief Operating Officer (COO) of the franchise, highlighted that the camp is specifically tailored for the cricketers who were available at the time. Singh emphasized the importance of this camp as a starting point for the team, bringing together the coaching staff and players to align their focus as GT once again.
GT made a remarkable entry into the IPL by winning the championship in their debut season in 2022. Since then, they have maintained a strong presence in the league, reaching the playoffs three times. The team’s relaxed atmosphere has garnered praise from both former and current players, who appreciate the positive environment fostered by GT.
Singh reflected on GT’s journey, noting the team’s growth and the challenges they have overcome in the competitive IPL environment.
