Gujarat’s Aarya Desai has set a new record in T20 cricket by scoring an impressive 193 runs off just 81 balls in the Surat Cricket T20 League. This remarkable achievement is being hailed as the highest individual score ever in the short format of the game. The 22-year-old player’s outstanding performance, which included 21 fours and 14 sixes, has garnered widespread attention on social media and among cricket enthusiasts.
Aarya Desai, who has previously represented Gujarat in prestigious tournaments like the Ranji Trophy and Duleep Trophy, displayed his exceptional batting prowess during the Surat Cricket T20 League. Known for his consistency and confidence, Desai’s innings showcased his dominance on the field. Anil Patel, the Secretary of the Gujarat Cricket Association (GCA), confirmed the authenticity of Desai’s record-breaking innings.
Having also been a part of the Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) in the IPL and a regular attendee at the National Cricket Academy camps, Desai has been making a name for himself at the state level with his impressive performances.
