Haryana Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini emphasized the importance of creating a drug-free and educated community to foster societal well-being and nation-building efforts. He highlighted the significance of service, respect, and values in shaping a meaningful society. CM Saini made these remarks during an event honoring Piyush Muni Maharaj in Jalandhar, Punjab.

Saints, according to the Chief Minister, play a crucial role in guiding society towards service, dedication, and knowledge. He urged individuals to prioritize character, values, and human sensitivity over material wealth. CM Saini emphasized the virtues of service, compassion, and humanity, underscoring the pivotal role of social organizations in combating drug abuse, promoting girls’ education, and upholding family values.

Addressing the challenges faced by Punjab, CM Saini lamented the impact of political ambitions on the state’s progress. He highlighted Punjab’s economic burden and emphasized the historical and emotional ties between Punjab and Haryana. The Chief Minister also criticized the Aam Aadmi Party’s unfulfilled promises in addressing drug abuse, contrasting it with Haryana’s youth-centric policies and initiatives for employment and skill development.

CM Saini expressed concerns over Punjab’s agricultural sector, citing issues related to crop procurement, payments, and youth unemployment. While Haryana is providing opportunities for its youth, Punjab continues to grapple with challenges and uncertainties. The neighboring states of Punjab and Haryana face contrasting scenarios in terms of youth empowerment and economic stability.
