Haryana Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini praised the enduring impact of the sacrifices made by the family of the tenth Sikh Guru, Guru Gobind Singh, during the state-level Veer Bal Diwas event in Sirsa. The event saw the participation of six lakh students from 3,450 schools in essay competitions across multiple languages.
Saini emphasized the government’s efforts to spread the teachings of Sikh Gurus and highlighted the significance of the 350th martyrdom anniversary of Guru Tegh Bahadur. He underscored the importance of upholding truth and righteousness, drawing inspiration from historical sacrifices.
Reflecting on the immortal martyrdom of the younger Sahibzadas of Guru Gobind Singh, Saini expressed reverence and pride at the event. He acknowledged the unparalleled sacrifice made by the Guru’s family members in upholding faith and truth, leaving a lasting legacy of patriotism and courage.
