Haryana Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini highlighted the alignment between the government’s promises and deeds during a Republic Day event in Gurugram. He emphasized Haryana’s progress under the principles of governance for the people, by the people, and of the people, in line with Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s vision for a developed India. Saini commended the effective implementation of new welfare schemes aimed at uplifting the underprivileged and breaking away from traditional practices.
The Chief Minister paid homage to martyrs, hoisted the national flag, and reviewed the parade featuring various contingents including the Haryana Police and Women Police. He underscored the significance of Republic Day in fostering national unity, cultural pride, and self-reliance, reflecting on India’s journey towards self-sufficiency and global recognition. Saini emphasized the celebration as a tribute to the nation’s past while envisioning a prosperous present and future shaped over the past 11 years.
Saini outlined the government’s commitment to systemic reforms, citing 217 manifesto resolutions from the previous Assembly elections. Notably, 54 resolutions have been accomplished within a year, with progress ongoing on the remaining 163. He highlighted Haryana’s pioneering policies like transparent recruitment processes, online registry systems, and the Antyodaya initiative, which have garnered national attention for their transparency and efficiency.
