The Haryana government has announced plans to closely monitor 100 significant ongoing projects across various departments to ensure they are completed within the specified timelines. This initiative aims to expedite project execution and ensure that the anticipated benefits are delivered promptly.

Chief Secretary Anurag Rastogi, during a meeting with Administrative Secretaries and department heads, emphasized the critical importance of timely completion of key development projects in enhancing governance outcomes and building public trust. Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini will personally oversee the progress of these identified projects on a monthly basis to address any obstacles and expedite implementation.

In the meeting, it was stressed that departments should identify major projects with substantial public impact and long-term socio-economic benefits for inclusion in the monitoring list. Additionally, a dedicated task force comprising senior officers will be established to regularly assess project progress, identify delays, and ensure seamless inter-departmental coordination.

Commissioner and Secretary (Industries and Commerce) Amit Aggarwal presented detailed insights into some of the ongoing major projects, underlining the necessity for real-time monitoring mechanisms. Departments were urged to promptly submit their selected projects to kickstart structured monitoring without delays.

This initiative is expected to streamline project execution processes, enhance accountability, and ensure that the developmental advantages reach the people of Haryana within specified timelines. Recently, Chief Minister Saini inaugurated and laid the foundation stones for five significant development projects in Uchana, Jind district, with a total worth of Rs 103.31 crore, focusing on infrastructure enhancement and regional development.
