Haryana Governor, Ashim Kumar Ghosh, visited Government Model Sanskriti Senior Secondary School in Nuh city and PM-SHRI Government Senior Secondary School in Ferozepur Namak village. During the visit, he stressed the importance of holistic development for schoolchildren. Governor Ghosh reviewed facilities like academic infrastructure, water, sanitation, and electricity at both schools.
He interacted with students in primary classrooms, encouraging them to study diligently and become responsible citizens. Governor Ghosh highlighted the significance of parents and teachers working together for the holistic development of children. He mentioned that education should encompass sports, health, discipline, and moral values for the overall growth of students.
Governor Ghosh underscored the need to improve basic school infrastructure, focusing on clean water, sanitation, and sports facilities. He announced a grant of Rs 10 lakh for each school to enhance student facilities. Emphasizing the role of parents, he advised spending quality time with children, nurturing a loving environment for effective learning and positive behavior changes.
Highlighting the crucial role of teachers as mentors and inspirations, Governor Ghosh urged them to instill discipline, self-confidence, and patriotism in students. He stressed the importance of coordination between parents and teachers to guide children towards a bright future and responsible citizenship. Governor Ghosh also visited a Primary Health Centre to review healthcare facilities and services.
