A history-sheeter, Nandanavanam Suri, known for his involvement in various crimes, was brutally attacked and killed at a birthday celebration near TKR College in Meerpet, Hyderabad. The assailant, after spraying pepper into Suri’s eyes, repeatedly stabbed him with a knife, causing severe injuries. Despite being rushed to a nearby hospital by locals, Suri was declared dead upon arrival.
The police suspect that the murder, believed to be a result of a long-standing family feud, was orchestrated by Afroz, the brother of one of Suri’s previous victims. It is alleged that Afroz meticulously planned the attack in advance and executed it with the help of accomplices when Suri attended the birthday party. Suri, with a criminal record in multiple police commissionerates, had faced an externment order by the Hyderabad police due to his history.
In a separate incident, a human skeleton was discovered in Bowenpalli, Secunderabad, with locals finding skull and bones near a dairy farm. The skeletal remains, suspected to be around five years old, were sent to Gandhi Hospital for DNA testing as the police initiated an investigation. Meanwhile, in Khammam district, a woman was stabbed by her husband at a police station while filing a complaint against him, leading to his immediate arrest by the authorities.
