Bollywood star Hrithik Roshan’s sister, Sunaina Roshan, shared in a video how crash dieting led to her battling tuberculosis meningitis, a life-threatening condition. This incident occurred in 2001 and resulted from her obsession with crash dieting, which severely impacted her immunity.

Sunaina recounted the aftermath of the crash diet in a video posted on her social media. She described the fear her family experienced when she was diagnosed with tuberculosis meningitis, with doctors warning of potential paralysis, loss of eyesight, or even a coma.

In her health journey series, Sunaina detailed her month-long hospitalization and subsequent four months at home to prevent a relapse after being diagnosed with tuberculosis meningitis. She emphasized the dangers of crash dieting and the importance of prioritizing nourishment over shortcuts for a healthy life.

Sunaina’s message to her followers stressed the significance of choosing nourishment over risking health for any goal. She shared her story to raise awareness about the dangers of crash dieting and urged others to prioritize their well-being.

Sunaina’s post also received emotional responses from her parents, who praised her courage and strength during her recovery journey. Her mother and father expressed pride in her resilience and determination to overcome the health crisis caused by crash dieting.
