Fifteen out of the 18 individuals who tragically lost their lives in the recent Lucknow fire incident have been recognized by authorities. The deceased include residents of Lucknow such as Shahjan, Sukhmani Singh, Aditya Srivastava, and others, with most victims aged between 20 and 24 years.
The families of the victims have been duly informed about the unfortunate incident. Additionally, two injured individuals, Lavpreet and Jayant from Lucknow, are currently receiving medical treatment at King George’s Medical University.
Following the devastating fire in Lucknow’s Aliganj area, an FIR has been filed against the building owners and others involved. The FIR, under specific sections of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita (BNS), names six individuals, including the arrested building owners and a studio operator.
The three-storey building where the fire broke out housed various establishments, including a pet shop, clinic, video gaming zone, and IT networking office. Lack of basic fire safety measures and emergency evacuation facilities in the building has been highlighted in the FIR, emphasizing the need for proper safety protocols.
