Filmmaker Imtiaz Ali shared insights on the casting process for his upcoming movie ‘Main Vapas Aaunga’. During the film’s promotions, Imtiaz highlighted the exuberance brought by lead actress Sharvari to her character Jiya. He emphasized the importance of casting choices, praising the natural qualities Sharvari and Vedang Raina bring to their roles.
The director explained that Sharvari’s inherent exuberance perfectly fits her character Jiya, enhancing the portrayal. He also noted Vedang’s earnestness, which he believed suited the character of Kino well. Imtiaz expressed confidence that the audience would appreciate the performances and the emotional depth each actor brings to their respective roles.
Apart from Sharvari and Vedang, the film features Diljit Dosanjh and Naseeruddin Shah, promising an exploration of human connections and a captivating cinematic experience. Scheduled for release on June 12, 2026, the movie is a collaboration between Birla Studios, Applause Entertainment, Mohit Choudhary, and Window Seat Films.
