India has urged its citizens in Israel to stay vigilant due to the deteriorating security situation following joint airstrikes by Israel and the United States against Iran. The Indian Embassy in Israel issued an advisory emphasizing the need for caution and adherence to safety guidelines. Indian nationals are advised to stay close to safe zones and designated shelters, avoiding non-essential travel within Israel.

The advisory also recommends monitoring local news and official announcements regularly. Indian citizens are encouraged to be aware of the nearest protected spaces in their area and to follow instructions from Israeli authorities. The Embassy assured continued assistance to Indian nationals and advised contacting them in case of emergencies.

Tensions escalated in the region after Tehran experienced powerful explosions, reportedly due to missile strikes by Israel. The situation arises amidst mounting friction between the US and Iran over a potential nuclear agreement. Concerns about a broader military conflict in the Middle East have been fueled by these recent developments.

Reports indicate missile strikes in key areas of Tehran, with smoke rising from government buildings. The extent of damage and any casualties are yet to be confirmed. Both Israel and Iran have closed their airspace as a precautionary measure in response to the evolving situation. Further updates are expected as the situation unfolds.
