Ministry of External Affairs (MEA) Secretary (West) Sibi George underlined the growing partnership between India and Luxembourg during the National Day Celebrations of Luxembourg. This signifies the positive trajectory of relations between the two countries.
External Affairs Minister (EAM) S Jaishankar’s official visit to Luxembourg earlier this year further solidified India’s engagement with Europe. During the visit, EAM Jaishankar met with key officials including Grand Duke Guillaume, Prime Minister Luc Frieden, and Deputy Prime Minister Xavier Bettel. Luxembourg expressed confidence in strengthening ties with India, particularly in areas like digital technologies, finance, and space cooperation.
Luxembourg’s Deputy Prime Minister Xavier Bettel highlighted the significant role of Indian knowledge in the technical growth of Luxembourg. He expressed optimism about further enhancing collaborations between the two countries.
