The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has predicted partly cloudy conditions in Delhi-NCR on Tuesday, with the chance of light rainfall and thunderstorms. Strong surface winds are expected to reach speeds of 40-50 kmph, occasionally touching 60 kmph. Daytime temperatures will range from 37 to 39 degrees Celsius, providing relief from the summer heat.
Following a change in weather on Monday, Delhi-NCR experienced showers, dust storms, and strong winds, offering respite from the intense heat. An active western disturbance influenced the region, leading to cooler temperatures and improved weather conditions. Light to moderate rainfall is expected to persist in the coming days, helping to control temperatures.
The current weather pattern is associated with a western disturbance moving across northwest India. Meteorologists anticipate a decrease in rainfall intensity, transitioning from heavy showers to lighter precipitation. Delhi’s air quality remained in the “moderate” category on Monday, with various areas showing Air Quality Index (AQI) readings.
