India’s fast bowler Harshit Rana expressed relief at rejoining the national team after a five-month hiatus due to a knee injury. Rana, 24, completed his rehabilitation at the BCCI Centre of Excellence and is now back with the Indian squad for the upcoming ODI against Afghanistan. He shared the emotional challenges faced during his recovery period and the support that aided his return.
Rana, who missed witnessing India’s T20 World Cup victory while sidelined, emphasized the personal significance of donning the Indian jersey again. He described the difficulty of missing out on the World Cup due to his injury but highlighted the hard work he put in during the five-month break.
