India has strongly rejected the “unwarranted references” made by China and Pakistan to Jammu and Kashmir in a joint statement. Leaders from various political parties reiterated India’s stance that Jammu and Kashmir and Ladakh are integral parts of the country. Congress MP Pramod Tiwari emphasized that these regions belong to India, with any dispute concerning Pakistan-occupied-Kashmir.
Congress MP Pramod Tiwari stated, “We just want to say that every single bit and every single inch of Jammu, Kashmir, and Ladakh belongs to India. If there is any dispute, it is regarding the part that is Pakistan-occupied-Kashmir. We should get that part back; it should be part of India’s map. This is the dream of an ‘Akhand Bharat’.” Bihar BJP State President, Sanjay Saraogi, supported the Ministry of External Affairs’ remarks, highlighting that Jammu and Kashmir is an integral part of India.
UP Minister Om Prakash Rajbhar highlighted the preparedness of the Indian armed forces, stating, “It is certain that if any foreign country tries to show aggression or act against India, our armed forces are fully prepared to give a strong response.” India firmly rejected the “unwarranted references” to the Union Territory of Jammu and Kashmir in the joint statement issued by China and Pakistan.
India’s Ministry of External Affairs spokesperson, Randhir Jaiswal, reiterated India’s position, stating, “India categorically rejects unwarranted references to the Union Territory of Jammu and Kashmir in the Joint Statement between China and Pakistan.” He emphasized that Jammu and Kashmir and Ladakh are integral and inalienable parts of India, with no other country having the right to comment on this matter.
