India triumphed at the Global Esports Games with Anuhith Gosala defeating Miras of Kazakhstan in the Clash Royale finals, securing the gold medal in a thrilling 3-2 victory. Additionally, India claimed a bronze in DOTA 2, while Türkiye clinched the gold. In Clash Royale, India overcame the USA in the lower bracket finals before edging into the grand finals with a tense 2-1 win. Kazakhstan, on the other hand, had already secured a spot in the final by defeating India 2-0 in the upper bracket finals.
Team India secured the bronze medal in DOTA 2 after a loss to Mongolia in the lower bracket finals. Türkiye emerged victorious in the grand finals, defeating Mongolia 3-1 to claim the gold medal. Anuhith Gosala, the gold medallist in Clash Royale, expressed his emotions, stating, “This moment is surreal. To win the Grand Finals here in India, in front of a home crowd, makes it even more emotional. The preparation was relentless, the pressure was intense, and every match tested my limits, but that’s what makes this victory so special.”

The event, inaugurated by Maharashtra’s Chief Minister, Devendra Fadnavis, hosted 48 elite athletes from 19 nations over four days. The GEG Mumbai World Finals have concluded, passing the baton to Los Angeles for the 2026 Global Esports Games.
