The Ambassador of India to Slovenia, Amit Narang, recently met with Tone Kajzer, the Minister of Foreign and European Affairs of Slovenia. During the meeting, they engaged in discussions on enhancing bilateral cooperation. Ambassador Narang presented a personal letter of congratulations from India’s External Affairs Minister to Minister Kajzer at the Ministry of Foreign and European Affairs in Slovenia.
Productive discussions were held focusing on ways to strengthen the warm and friendly relationship between India and Slovenia, aiming to establish a mutually beneficial partnership for the future. In a recent event, Ambassador Sibi George, Secretary (West), represented India at the National Day celebrations of Slovenia at the country’s Embassy in New Delhi. He reiterated India’s commitment to the enduring partnership with Slovenia and emphasized the need to enhance cooperation in new areas of mutual interest.
Furthermore, Foreign Minister Jaishankar of India extended congratulations to Minister Kajzer on his appointment and expressed eagerness to collaborate. In a social media post, Jaishankar conveyed his best wishes to Minister Kajzer on his new role. Additionally, Prime Minister Narendra Modi congratulated Janez Jansa on becoming Slovenia’s Prime Minister, expressing a willingness to work closely together to strengthen bilateral ties for the benefit of both nations.
