The Indian Ambassador to the United Arab Emirates, Sunjay Sudhir, addressed the Indian community in the UAE, ensuring the government’s dedication to their safety during recent challenging times. The Indian Embassy in Abu Dhabi and the Consulate in Dubai are actively assisting Indian nationals through 24/7 helplines and email services. Prime Minister Narendra Modi and External Affairs Minister S. Jaishankar have engaged with UAE leaders to express gratitude for their efforts in safeguarding the nation and its residents.

The Ambassador stressed the importance of relying on official channels for information and cautioned against misinformation. He advised against spreading unverified claims on social media and encouraged responsible behavior. Efforts are underway to coordinate with airlines and local authorities to ease travel disruptions caused by overflight restrictions. The CBSE examination scheduled for October 22 has been postponed, with a revised timetable to follow soon.

In his message, the Ambassador urged the Indian community in the UAE to stay safe, calm, and vigilant, assuring them of the embassy and consulate’s unwavering support during this period. He concluded by stating, “We are with you. Jai Hind.”
