Indian recurve archers, Dhiraj Bommadevara and Kumkum Mohod, secured a remarkable victory by defeating South Korea’s Olympic champions in the recurve mixed team final at the Archery World Cup Stage 3 in Antalya. The duo displayed exceptional composure and skill, outshooting the formidable Korean team. Dhiraj, aged 24, and Kumkum, just 17, showed no signs of intimidation against the experienced opponents.
The Indian archers maintained their focus throughout the match, matching the Koreans arrow for arrow and delivering crucial shots when it mattered most. Dhiraj, ranked 16th globally, ended the final with a perfect 10 on his last arrow.
