General Officer Commanding (GOC) of Kharga Corps, Lt Gen Rajesh Pushkar, praised the professionalism and agility shown by all ranks during Operation Sindoor. He also reviewed the readiness of Deep Strikers, applauding their preparedness and technological capabilities in executing operational tasks.

A social media post from an official of the Western Command of the Indian Army shared details of the review conducted by Lt Gen Pushkar.

The 11th Gorkha Rifles celebrated its 79th Raising Day, honoring a legacy of bravery, discipline, and dedication to duty. The first Regiment raised after Independence, the Gorkha Rifles have been a symbol of courage and commitment to the Nation, inspiring generations with their honour, sacrifice, and professionalism.

Maj Gen Vikas Lal assumed command as General Officer Commanding, Pashchim Madhya Pradesh Sub Area, at the Southern Command of the Indian Army. In a ceremony, he paid tribute to the soldiers who sacrificed their lives for the nation and urged all ranks to maintain operational readiness and strengthen coordination with civil agencies.

At the Central Command’s headquarters, Lt Gen Anindya Sengupta, GOC-in-C, interacted with troops, praising their dedication and commitment to the Nation. He encouraged them to enter the new year with renewed determination, upholding discipline, integrity, and excellence.

Lt Gen Sengupta expressed confidence in the capability and resilience of every soldier under his command, wishing them strength, good health, and success in safeguarding the Nation with honour and pride.
