The Shatrujeet Eagles ensured the hospital’s smooth operation by fixing and managing crucial medical and electrical equipment, aiding in continuous healthcare delivery to quake-affected individuals.
The engineering team’s efforts ranged from repairing life-saving medical devices to installing and upkeeping essential electrical systems, facilitating the swift functioning of the hospital throughout the relief operation. Their technical skills and dedication supported frontline medical teams, ensuring prompt and efficient medical aid during the disaster response initiative.
The Indian Army praised the Shatrujeet Task Force for their commitment and service excellence, underscoring India’s position as a dependable first responder in times of crisis, offering hope and humanitarian aid when most needed. Under Operation Amistad, the Indian Army’s Field Hospital conducted over 8,000 medical procedures, including more than 20 major surgeries, benefiting hundreds of quake-affected individuals. The successful mission concluded with the Indian contingent returning home, receiving gratitude from Venezuela’s Acting President Delcy Eloina Rodriguez Gomez for India’s timely support and solidarity during the emergency.
