Indian men’s cricket team head coach Gautam Gambhir is currently on a well-deserved break in Singapore with his family, which includes his wife Natasha and their two daughters, Aazeen and Anaiza. Gambhir decided to visit Singapore following India’s remarkable victory in the ICC T20 World Cup 2026, where they defeated New Zealand by 96 runs to secure the title. This win marked India as the first team to clinch three T20 World Cup titles and the first to defend the trophy on home ground.
Gambhir, known for his casual style, was spotted happily exploring the city streets with his daughters during the vacation. He was seen carrying his youngest daughter, Anaiza, on his shoulders, radiating joy and contentment. Having been a pivotal player in India’s ICC T20 World Cup 2007 triumph, Gambhir has now achieved a significant milestone by winning the tournament both as a player and a coach.
The victory in the recent T20 World Cup has elevated Gambhir to the ranks of esteemed coaches like Rahul Dravid and Lalchand Rajput, who have steered India to T20 World Cup glory in the past. Prior to his coaching role, Gambhir led the Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) to an IPL title in 2024, which paved the way for his appointment as the head coach of the Indian team post the 2024 T20 World Cup. Looking ahead, Gambhir and the Indian cricket team are gearing up for a challenging series against Afghanistan, featuring a test match and three ODIs in June 2026, followed by engagements in Ireland and England.
