Avinash Vijay Kumar, a member of the Indian diaspora residing in Slovakia for nearly 18 years, expressed happiness over PM Modi’s attention to their community, citing the potential for increased opportunities, especially in skill sectors like automobiles. The Indian diaspora in Slovakia feels a sense of pride and visibility due to the upcoming visit, considering it a significant moment.
Slovak President Peter Pelligrini welcomed PM Modi’s visit as historic and emphasized its potential to enhance cooperation between Slovakia and India. President Pelligrini expressed anticipation for the visit, highlighting the prospects for new opportunities in bilateral relations. India’s Ambassador to Slovakia, Apoorva Srivastava, noted the significance of PM Modi’s trip in strengthening political ties, economic security, and people-to-people connections between the two countries. Ambassador Srivastava highlighted the rapid growth in economic relations between India and Slovakia in recent years, pointing out a substantial increase in trade volume.
