A prestigious event, the 18th edition of the World 10K Bengaluru, will witness top Indian Elite athletes competing for a prize pool of USD 210,000 on Sunday. The Indian men’s winner stands to claim INR 3,00,000, while the women’s champion will receive INR 2,75,000. Athletes breaking event records can earn an additional bonus of INR 1,00,000.

Defending champion Abhishek Pal, who set the Indian men’s event record last year with a time of 29:12, expresses confidence in his return to Bengaluru. Joining him is Kartik Karkera, aiming to build on recent successes and prepare for future competitions like the Asian Games.

In the women’s category, Sanjivani Jadhav eyes a historic third consecutive win as an Indian Elite athlete in Bengaluru. With over 36,000 participants expected, the event is set to energize the city and attract attention from esteemed guests, including government officials and international figures.
