External Affairs Minister (EAM) S. Jaishankar met with the Indian community in Luxembourg, acknowledging their role in strengthening India’s ties with the European nation. He highlighted the expanding partnership between India and Luxembourg in various sectors such as politics, business, and technology. During his discussions with Luxembourg’s leadership, EAM Jaishankar expressed gratitude for the positive feedback received about the Indian community’s integration and contributions.
EAM emphasized the significance of the India-Luxembourg partnership, noting Luxembourg’s strategic position within the European Union and its influence on decision-making processes. He underscored the importance of Luxembourg’s support as India seeks to enhance its engagement with the EU, especially in areas like free trade agreements, technology, defense, and connectivity. In a meeting with the Grand Duke Guillaume of Luxembourg, EAM Jaishankar conveyed warm regards from President Droupadi Murmu. He appreciated the Grand Duke’s positive sentiments towards India and expressed eagerness to further deepen the bilateral partnership.
