The DP World Professional Golf Tour of India (DP World PGTI) president, Kapil Dev, congratulated Yuvraj Sandhu, Veer Ahlawat, and Saptak Talwar for their selection in the Indian men’s golf team for the Asian Games 2026 in Aichi-Nagoya, Japan. Additionally, Dev extended congratulations to Aditi Ashok, Diksha Dagar, and Pranavi Urs, who will represent India in the women’s section.
The Indian Golf Union has finalized a six-member Indian golf squad for the Asian Games, with Yuvraj Sandhu, Veer Ahlawat, and Saptak Talwar forming the men’s team, and Aditi Ashok, Diksha Dagar, and Pranavi Urs comprising the women’s team. The golf events are scheduled to take place from September 30 to October 3, 2026, at the Kasugai Country Club East Course in Japan.
Yuvraj Sandhu, a prominent Indian professional golfer, has been consistent in his performances, securing multiple titles including an international win. Veer Ahlawat, the 2024 DP World PGTI Order of Merit champion, and Saptak Talwar, the current leader of the 2026 DP World PGTI Order of Merit, have also showcased strong performances in recent times.
