A mix of Indian golfing stars and emerging talents from the Indian Golf Premier League (IGPL) will join Asia’s top players at the Singapore Open, part of the International Series and Asian Tour. The prestigious US$2 million event, hosted at the Serapong at Sentosa Golf Club, is the second in the Liv-backed International Series this year, following a tournament in Japan.
Among the seven-man Indian contingent are five players who have excelled in the IGPL Tour over the past eight months. Notable names include Pukhraj Singh Gill, the 2025 IGPL Order of Merit champion, and Sachin Baisoya, who recently clinched victory at the IGPL Invitational Mauritius.
Karandeep Kochhar, a victor on the ADT Tour in Egypt in 2025, and the winner of the AM Green IGPL Invitational Dubai in December 2025, will also be competing. Gaganjeet Bhullar, the most successful IGPL player in the group, boasts 11 Asian Tour wins, making him a prominent figure in Indian golf at 37 years old.
Jeev Milkha Singh, a revered figure in Indian golf with numerous wins across various tours, will also be part of the Indian challenge at the Singapore Open. Singh, who secured victory at the Singapore Open in 2008, recently ended a title drought by winning the AM Green IGPL Invitational Colombo.
The Indian representation further includes SSP Chawrasia, a six-time Asian Tour champion and two-time Indian Open winner, and Shiv Kapur, a former Asian Tour Rookie of the Year. Kapur, with four wins in Asia and Major appearances, continues to showcase his prowess on the course.
The ongoing IGPL Tour 2026 has witnessed three events so far, with Bhullar, Baisoya, and Udayan Mane emerging victorious in Chandigarh, Mauritius, and Joburg, South Africa, respectively.
