The recent episode of Indian Idol featured Vishal Dadlani reminiscing about the late legendary singer Zubeen Garg, expressing deep emotions for him. Dadlani praised Zubeen, highlighting his unique stardom and impact on their lives at the beginning of their careers. Baadshah, a judge on the show, echoed Dadlani’s sentiments, suggesting that Zubeen embodied the essence of a true Indian Idol.

Contestant Manraj delivered a powerful performance on the show, blending songs from popular movies like “Aashiqui” and “Gangster.” Judge Vishal Dadlani was moved by Manraj’s performance, noting the striking resemblance to the late Zubeen Garg. Zubeen Garg, a revered singer, tragically passed away on September 19 due to a scuba diving accident in Singapore, despite efforts to save him in the ICU.

Zubeen had been in Singapore for the North East India festival at Suntec, scheduled shortly after his untimely demise. His sudden death left a void in the music industry, with many remembering him for his exceptional talent and contributions.
