Indian Idol 16 winner Jyotirmayee Nayak has expressed admiration for playback sensation Arijit Singh, highlighting his music’s ability to heal people beyond entertainment. Nayak, in an exclusive conversation, commended Singh’s popularity in playback singing and his talent for creating deeply resonant music. She shared her dream of collaborating with both Arijit Singh and Shreya Ghoshal in the future, manifesting that it will come true one day.

Jyotirmayee’s comments follow Arijit Singh’s announcement of retiring from new playback singing assignments a few months ago. Singh, in a social media post, thanked his listeners for their love over the years and revealed his decision to step back from new assignments while fulfilling his current commitments. Despite this, he plans to continue his journey in independent and classical music.

Arijit Singh, known for hits like ‘Tum Hi Ho’, ‘Channa Mereya’, ‘Kesariya’, and ‘Ae Dil Hai Mushkil’, among others, has left a lasting impact on the music industry with his soulful songs that deeply resonate with audiences.
