Members of the Indian men’s cricket team expressed admiration for the facilities and infrastructure at the Baroda Cricket Association Stadium as they gear up for India’s inaugural international match at the venue against New Zealand. In a video shared by the BCCI, Indian captain Shubman Gill, along with Yashasvi Jaiswal and Prasidh Krishna, praised the new venue.
Prasidh Krishna, reminiscing about his team Karnataka’s victory in the Vijay Hazare Trophy last year, expressed excitement about returning to the stadium. Yashasvi Jaiswal commended the stadium’s infrastructure, recovery area, and the local passion for cricket in Vadodara. He highlighted the excellent facilities such as the outfield, wicket, dressing room, and recovery room, expressing eagerness for the upcoming challenge.
Indian skipper Shubman Gill, discussing his first ODI series as captain in India, lauded the stadium’s aesthetics and spacious dressing room. He emphasized the importance of a good dressing room and ground, expressing enthusiasm for the series against New Zealand. Gill noted the players’ good form after participating in domestic games and conveyed his excitement for the upcoming matches.
