Indian Naval Ships INS Udaygiri, INS Shakti, and INS Kavaratti from the Eastern Fleet engaged in a Passage Exercise (PASSEX) with Royal Thai Navy’s HTMS Chao Phraya, emphasizing their joint dedication to maritime security and regional stability. This exercise followed the Indian Navy ships’ visit to Sattahip in Thailand. The PASSEX aimed to boost cooperation between the two Navies and reinforce their commitment to maritime security.
During their visit to Sattahip, the Indian Navy ships participated in professional exchanges, a combined yoga session, sporting activities, and ship visits. The visit concluded with a warm farewell ceremony hosted by the Royal Thai Navy. Professional interactions, yoga sessions, sports engagements, and ship tours were part of the activities during the visit.
On June 30, personnel from the Indian Navy and Royal Thai Navy engaged in a friendly volleyball match while INS Udaygiri, INS Shakti, and INS Kavaratti were in Sattahip. The volleyball match and a yoga session highlighted the camaraderie, teamwork, and mutual understanding between the two navies, emphasizing the importance of harmony between body and mind for maintaining professional standards.
