The recruitment process of the Railway Recruitment Boards involves conducting computer-based tests in multiple cities and centers nationwide. These tests are held in multiple shifts and in 15 languages to ensure inclusivity for candidates from diverse linguistic backgrounds. The aim is to maintain fairness, standardization, and transparency throughout the recruitment process. The annual recruitment calendar and quarterly notifications of vacancies have been well-received by candidates, enabling them to plan their preparation effectively.
Union Minister Vaishnaw highlighted the progress in transitioning departmental examinations to Computer Based Test mode. He stressed the importance of introducing more tablet-based examinations to expedite recruitment processes and enhance user-friendliness. The emphasis on multi-language support in examinations ensures wider accessibility for candidates across the country, promoting equal participation without language barriers. Additionally, Railway Recruitment Boards were directed to enhance communication with candidates and stakeholders to provide accurate updates and combat misinformation promptly.
