Booking train tickets on the IRCTC website is now easier and quicker with Indian Railways unveiling the beta version of the revamped ticket booking portal. The new interface offers simplified navigation, a cleaner look, and various features to enhance the booking process.
The redesigned portal, accessible through a beta link on the existing IRCTC website, aims to address user feedback for a more convenient experience. This initiative follows Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw’s commitment made during an interaction with students at the Malaviya National Institute of Technology (MNIT) in Jaipur.
The upgraded platform introduces improvements like a mobile-friendly design, smoother navigation, and faster loading speeds. It eliminates the need for repetitive CAPTCHA verification, allowing users to complete transactions swiftly. Users can now easily check seat availability across different travel classes without constant search option changes.
The beta version release is intended to gather real-time feedback from users to enhance usability, design, and performance before the final launch. Alongside the website redesign, IRCTC is also modernizing its Passenger Reservation System (PRS) to improve system performance without disrupting current services.
