India’s Maisnam Luwang Meiraba and Tushar Suveer had successful starts at the 2026 Baoji China Masters, a BWF World Tour Super 100 event in Baoji, China. Meiraba defeated Erfan Majeed Hajibeigy of Malaysia and will face Huang Ping-Hsien of Chinese Taipei next. Meanwhile, Suveer triumphed over Chang Han-Tsai of Chinese Taipei and is set to play against third seed Richie Duta Richardo of Indonesia.
Dhruv Negi, however, faced an early exit after losing to Sun Chao of China in a one-sided match. In the Round of 32, Manraj Singh and Ginpaul Sonna received byes and are scheduled to play their matches in the Round of 16. Additionally, Nicholas Raj is set to compete against Yi Liu of Chinese Taipei.
On the women’s side, top seed Rakshitha Sree Santhosh Ramraj will compete against compatriot Shreya Lele, while seventh seed Ashmita Chaliha will face Sakura Masuki of Japan. Other matchups include third seed Shriyanshi Valishetty against Han Tu Chen of Chinese Taipei, Madhavi Nagar against sixth seed Mutiara Ayu Puspitasari of Indonesia, and Mansi Singh against Yuan An Qi of China. Second seed Tanya Hemanth will play Tonrug Saeheng in this eleventh tournament of the 2026 BWF World Tour.
