Prime Minister Narendra Modi is gearing up to inaugurate ‘Bharat Innovates 2026’ in France, where Indian startups and innovators are eagerly anticipating the global exposure for India’s deep-tech, clean energy, and healthcare innovations. This initiative serves as a significant platform for Indian innovation to engage with investors, industry leaders, policymakers, and technology partners. Gudlyf Mobility co-founder and CEO Dr. Ajeet Babu PK expressed pride in the opportunity, especially for entrepreneurs from smaller cities like Madurai.
Dr. KC Vora, also from Gudlyf Mobility, highlighted the global visibility this initiative offers Indian startups. He emphasized the excitement around the potential for their product to gain international recognition and be exported worldwide. Notably, out of nearly 3,000 applicants, 120 startups were shortlisted for this opportunity. Their focus lies on developing a hydrogen cylinder that is lighter and more cost-effective than traditional metal cylinders.
Prateek Golecha, Chief Growth Officer at Tricog Health, emphasized the global platform’s significance in showcasing Indian-made technology. Their AI-driven healthcare solutions, developed in India, are now being presented on an international stage, with hopes of entering various global markets. The company aims to enhance access to affordable diagnostics, particularly in emerging markets where delayed testing can exacerbate outcomes for conditions like heart diseases.
Prof. Arnab Dutta from UrjanovaC highlighted their carbon capture innovation, which involves capturing and converting carbon dioxide using water, inspired by natural biological and geological processes. ‘Bharat Innovates 2026’ is a three-day national initiative featuring 120 startups and involving over 15 premier institutions. The event aims to demonstrate India’s technological capabilities to global investors, policymakers, and research organizations.
