India’s campaign in the Badminton Asia Team Championships ended in the quarterfinals in Qingdao, China. The men’s team lost 1-3 to Korea, while the women’s team was defeated 0-3 by China. Despite a strong start by Ayush Shetty in the men’s singles, India couldn’t secure a win.

Korea dominated the men’s quarterfinal with victories in both singles and doubles matches. Kidambi Srikanth managed to secure a win for India, but it wasn’t enough to turn the tide. On the women’s side, India faced tough competition from China, with Gao Fang Jie leading the charge.

In the absence of key players like PV Sindhu, India struggled to match the strength of their opponents. The Indian women’s team put up a fight, but ultimately fell short against the formidable Chinese team. The results reflected a challenging day for Indian badminton in the championships.
