A day after Prime Minister Narendra Modi highlighted India’s defence capabilities at the ‘Melbourne meets Modi’ event, the BJP-led NDA government praised his speech. BJP National Spokesperson R.P. Singh mentioned that India’s efforts in strengthening its defence infrastructure have led to countries like the Philippines and Vietnam signing defence deals with India. This was in reference to India’s BrahMos Missile System deals with these nations.

Rajasthan BJP President Madan Rathore acknowledged Modi’s efforts in advancing India towards becoming a developed nation. He viewed Operation Sindoor as a significant milestone in India’s defence, emphasizing the country’s progress in various fields. Rathore also highlighted India’s success in developing defence infrastructures, citing the killing of terrorists through missile launches within the country.

BJP MP Ashok Kumar Mittal described Operation Sindoor as “incredible,” leading to Pakistan’s request to cease the operation due to its impact. Mittal emphasized India’s commitment to peace but also its readiness to respond to any conflict. He reiterated PM Modi’s stance on peace while emphasizing India’s capability to defend itself effectively.

Janata Dal-United National Spokesperson Rajiv Ranjan commended the Indian defence forces for their swift and effective response against terrorism. Ranjan emphasized that despite Pakistan’s support for terrorism, they lack the courage to challenge India directly. He praised India’s decisive action in destroying terrorist infrastructures and eliminating key terrorists within a short span of time.

BJP spokesperson Guru Prakash Paswan asserted that India’s sovereignty and dignity remain intact against any external threats. He highlighted India’s courage in defending itself, which has garnered international recognition and acceptance. Paswan emphasized India’s ability to protect its interests and maintain its position on the global stage.
