While the US leads in cutting-edge AI models, China’s innovation capabilities pose a challenge, making India’s talent pool and data resources essential for American competitiveness.
The vast population in India offers a rich dataset for testing AI applications across diverse sectors, from agriculture to healthcare. The country’s projected AI talent pool of over 1.25 million by 2027 positions it as a key player in driving innovation. However, there is a need to align skills with specific AI tasks to fully leverage this potential, emphasizing the importance of integrating Indian talent into US-led AI ecosystems.
