A dispute over an Instagram comment in Nagla Patwari, Aligarh, turned violent, leaving two brothers injured, one critically, due to a firearm being used during the altercation. The conflict began when Adnan posted on Instagram and Ayan’s comment, “I am your father,” offended Adnan. This led to a confrontation and physical fight between the two.

Family members and elders from both sides joined the argument, escalating tensions. During the confrontation, a youth named Babu, from Adnan’s side, fired a shot with an illegal pistol, hitting Sameer from Ayan’s side in the chest. Sameer’s younger brother, Faizan, tried to apprehend Babu but was struck on the head with the pistol before Babu fled.

The gunfire caused panic in the area, with residents seeking safety. Sameer and Faizan were rushed to JN Medical College for treatment, where Sameer remains in critical condition. Police officials, including SP City Aditya Bansal and CO Civil Lines Sarvam Singh, responded to the scene promptly upon notification.

CO Sarvam Singh confirmed the incident near the graveyard in Nagla Patwari, where a person opened fire, injuring Sameer. The formal case registration process is ongoing at the local police station.
